I hear you ask. Well I won’t reveal all, there have to be some surprises in life. But we will be singing One Way at the 11am. We love the actions/dances that City Bible Church put together, this is their video of One Way!

This Sunday (4th Feb 2018), we’re excited to have Bishop Pete, the Bishop of Sheffield, with us at 9.30 and 11am. +Pete is passionate about the Bible and will be preaching on The Bible is Food to start us off on a new series as we go through Lent.

Come and join us and say Hi to the Bishop.

Last night at Connect

Last night at Connect we watched this video:

It’s great! We then discussed questions like ‘Does the Bible story continue today?’ and ‘Why did God reveal God’s self through the story of one nation?’. We didn’t have all the answers but it was a great conversation, you can join in too Wednesdays, 7.30 for 8 at the Vicarage.

CHRISTMAS FAIR

The Christmas Fair is almost upon us! We have a raffle, we have a prize every time, we have a nativity photo booth, we have Santa (between 11am and 1pm), we have face painting, we have a cake stall, we have some great stalls for presents, we have christmassy refreshments, we have crafts for children.

All in all we’ve got everything! All we need now is YOU! Come and join the fun, THIS Saturday 10.30-2.30pm at St Peter’s Community Hall. If you want a stall and haven’t booked one yet, we can squeeze in one or two more, but be quick and call Dave on 01302 876272.

Pentecost Picnic and other fun stuff…

Hello!

This Sunday is our Pentecost Picnic in the Vicarage garden at 12noon, straight after the 11am service. There will be a bouncy castle and tea, coffee and squash will be provided. Bring something to eat and something to sit on and wine or beer if that’s what you want to drink…

But before that we have our Church Prayer Meeting on Wednesday evening at 7.30pm. We’ll be using the second session of the Prayer Course and then praying together. It would be great to see you there!

We’ve got lots of great events coming up too. A St Peter’s Day service on the 29th June, The Howard Scarborough Memorial Concert on the 1st July, Strawberry Tea on the 2nd July, we’ll be at Bentley Bonanza on the 9th July and the 15th July is our Bond Ball! Phew! Get the dates in your diary and come along and enjoy yourselves.
