We have services every Sunday at 9.30 and 11.15. Find out which service would suit you best, get directions and find out about the dress code:

The Services

The 9.30 service is at 9.30am (we know that’s not very original). It’s a traditional service of Holy Communion (most weeks) and lasts between 45 minutes and an hour. Tea and coffee are served afterwards.

Just like the 9.30 is at 9.30, The 11.15 is at 11.15am. This service is more relaxed in style and many of the people who come to it bring their children. Everyone is welcome and the children go over to the community hall for groups aimed at them. The service lasts around an hour. Tea and coffee is served before this service so that people from both services have a chance to meet and mingle.

The Dress Code

There is no need to dress up to come to church at St Peter’s. Come as you are. The Vicar usually wears jeans with his clergy shirt and that sets the tone.

how to get here

Many of our congregation live close enough to walk to church. This is good news for the environment and healthy for you too!

You can get to us by public transport. The 66 bus runs from town every 10 minutes during the week and every 20-30 minutes on a Sunday. The bus stop is opposite Heron, about 2 minutes walk away and right outside the building for the return journey. Bentley also has a train station which is a leisurely 7 minute stroll away.

If you have to drive, we do have a small car park at the church, outside the Community Hall.
