Giving is for Everyone

We believe that to to achieve everything that God is calling us to do, everyone needs to be involved in prayer, giving and serving.


Our contribution, particularly financially, might seem small, but it all adds up and God multiplies your giving to make a difference in our Church and in the world. It’s worth saying at the outset that you can’t outgive God.

How can I give?

Whichever way you prefer, we have a way that you can give!

  • Monthly Direct Debit

    If you want to make a monthly donation by Direct Debit, the Parish Giving Scheme is your friend and ours!


    ✅ Direct debits mean you never forget to make your donation - the treasurer loves that!

    ✅ If you are a UK taxpayer the Parish Giving Scheme can increase your donation by 25% at no cost to you whatsover! They pay the additional money to us each month. The treasurer loves that too!


    ❌ The Parish Giving Scheme takes your donation on the 1st of each month. If that date doesn’t work for you then a standing order would likely be better.

  • Standing Order

    A standing order is an instruction to your bank to pay someone the same amount of money every week, month, quarter or year.


    You can set it up in your online banking app. Sometimes they call them recurring payments rather than standing orders.


    To set it up, you will need the church bank details which are

    (I know, I’m sorry!)

    It’s a business account.


    ✅ You can set it up on your banking app

    ✅ You can use the same details for one-off or recurring payments

    ✅ You can decide which date your money leaves the bank

    ✅ You are fully in control of your giving at all times.


    ⚠️ If you are a UK taxpayer, you will need to complete a form to allow us to increase your donation by 25% at no cost to you. (This is called gift aid). So please remember to complete that form too.

  • Debit or Credit Card

    You can make a donation by card too, both one off and monthly.


    To do that you access our partner Zeffy. They don’t charge us any fees. To make a profit, they will ask you to make an additional donation to cover their costs. You can set that amount at 0, but if everyone does that they won’t be able to offer the service anymore!


    You can also make one off donations in church using the sum-up machine and tablet on the welcome desk.


    ✅ You are fully in control of your giving at all times.

    ✅ If you give online, you can use Apple Pay or Google Pay


    ⚠️ If you are a UK taxpayer, you will need to complete a form to allow us to increase your donation by 25% at no cost to you. (This is called gift aid). So please remember to complete that form too.

    ⚠️ If you donate on the card reader in church, you can only donate when you come to church. If you set up a regular payment online or use a standing order / direct debit we receive your donation without you having to remember.


    ❌ Please only make a donation by credit card if you pay off your bill in full each month. Otherwise, please give less with cash you have to hand.

  • Cash

    You are always welcome to give cash in the donation box at the back of church.


    We do have to count it and bank it though, if you can give digitally it does make our life easier!
