Verger (Caretaker/Cleaner)

At St Peter’s we are blessed with three fantastic spaces, the church, St Peter’s Community Hall and Town End Community Hub. The Community Hall in particular is very well used and we want to ensure that everyone who uses the buildings has a great experience of warm, welcoming and clean places. The Verger will be primarily responsible for making this happen.

The work is part time, 16 hours a week. These will need to be worked flexibly around the users of the different buildings and may include some weekend working (although always with at least one 24 hour period a week with no work).

Salary £9,786 per year (£21,406 full time equivalent) plus non-contributory pension scheme.

Holidays 5 weeks, plus allowance for bank holidays and discretionary days in addition.
