alive and active

This Sunday at 9.30 and 4pm we’ll be thinking about the word of God being alive and active.  We’d love to meet you there!

This Sunday is our last 4pm service, from the following week, the 21st October, we’ll be meeting at 9.30 and 11.15am.  See you Sunday!

This Sunday we are thinking about Jesus’ instructions to follow His commands and love each other.

Isn’t a bit odd for Jesus to say ‘If you love me, you’ll obey my commands’?  It wouldn’t usually be a sign of a healthy friendship, would it?

We’ll be thinking about this tomorrow at 9.30am (traditional) and 4pm (informal with activities for children).

Why don’t you come and join us?

The Vine

Posted in Sunday

It’s Sunday tomorrow.  As usual at St Peter’s we have two services at 9.30am (traditional) and 4pm (informal with activities for children).  There is coffee after the 9.30, and at 3.45, before the 4pm.

Jesus said, ‘I am the vine, you are the branches’.  Together we’ll be looking at what it means for our lives to be fruitful.  What does a non-fruitful life look like?  How can a relationship with God make the difference.

Join us at 9.30 or 4, we’d love to see you!

This Sunday (22nd April 2018)

This week at our services we’ll be thinking about Jesus, the good shepherd.  If you appreciate the traditional things in life come at 9.30am.  If you like things more informal, or you’re hoping for some children’s activities, you’ll prefer the 4pm service.

It’s also our APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) at 10.45, this is important, so if you would call yourself a member of St Peter’s we’d love to see you there too!

Easter Sunday

Posted in news, and Sunday

Tomorrow is Easter Day! Jesus is alive and we’ll have services of celebration at 9.30am (traditional) and 4.00pm (informal with activities for children). We can promise chocolate, party poppers and a great atmosphere. Doors open at 3.45pm for the 4pm service.

See you tomorrow!!

Sunday’s comin’…

It’s mothering Sunday tomorrow.  You’ll be welcome at St Peter’s at 9.30 or 11am.  We’ll be celebrating our Mums, remembering those Mums who aren’t with us any more and remembering that those relationships aren’t always as happy as we’d like.  So there’s something for everyone tomorrow!  See you there!

All Change!

The times they are a changin’.  On the 25th March we put our clocks forward an hour and lose an hours sleep.  But if you come to our 11am service there is good news!  The 11am is becoming the 4pm from that Sunday onwards.  Doors open for tea, coffee and biscuits at 3.45pm and the service starts at 4.  Not been for a while, or never tried out church?  This is a great opportunity to give us a go!  (We’re still on at 11am until then, so don’t be a stranger!).

Get Excited, it’s Sunday!

It’s Sunday!

If you’re not reading this too late, why not pop down to St Peter’s this morning for Church?  If you’re a traditional type, the 9.30am is for you.  If you’re worried the children will make too much noise pop along at 11am for our informal service.  We can’t wait to meet you!

Reading this on Sunday afternoon?  No bother, the good news is that there is always a service at St Peter’s, every Sunday 52 weeks a year, set your alarm now for next Sunday morning!

Free Peace

Posted in Sunday

If you’re feeling frazzled this morning, why not come to church?  The number one thing people say they feel when they come into church is peace and focus.  Come and find it for yourself!  This morning at 9.30am (traditional) and 11am (informal with activities for children).

Reading this too late?  There’s always next week, same time. See you there.
