Wednesday Morning Blues

No Coffee in the car park today, it’s half term (sorry).  If you’re in need of caffeine today Moona’s on the High Street do great coffee.

It’s Ash Wednesday today, which is the start of Lent.  If you’ve not decided what you’re giving up, today’s the day!  We’ve got a special service tonight at 7.30 in Church reminding us that we are not the centre of the universe.  It’s a great way to get perspective.  Part of the service is having the sign of the cross made on our foreheads with ashes – but if that really doesn’t appeal, it is optional!

Tomorrow (Sunday 11th Feb 2018)

Tomorrow is Sunday!  Yay!

We‘ve got an action packed morning planned starting at 9.30 with Parish Eucharist – our traditional service.  At 11am is st peter’s together our informal service with activities for children.

At 12noon it’s church lunch, everyone is invited to bring and share some food and spend an hour together eating as a family in the Church Hall.  What should you bring?  Anything you can share, a plate of sandwiches, some crisps, a cake, some bread and butter, fruit, a pudding anything really!  Somehow it all works out and there’s usually a great spread!  It’s a bit like the feeding of the 5,000 but with fewer people and more food 🙂

See you tomorrow!

Free Coffee!

Tomorrow morning is coffee in the carpark.  Free coffee or tea from 8.45 til 9.15am.  It’s our last one before we take a break for half term.  No strings, chat if you want, grab one and go if you’re in a hurry.

See you in the morn
