The Vine

Posted in Sunday

It’s Sunday tomorrow.  As usual at St Peter’s we have two services at 9.30am (traditional) and 4pm (informal with activities for children).  There is coffee after the 9.30, and at 3.45, before the 4pm.

Jesus said, ‘I am the vine, you are the branches’.  Together we’ll be looking at what it means for our lives to be fruitful.  What does a non-fruitful life look like?  How can a relationship with God make the difference.

Join us at 9.30 or 4, we’d love to see you!

Thy Kingdom Come

Posted in events, and The Notices

The Archbishops of Canterbury and York are calling people to pray between Ascension day and Pentecost, the 10-20th May 2018.  We want to join in at St Peter’s.  Keep an eye out for materials to help us.

In particular they are calling us to pray for five people who don’t know Jesus, that they would get to know Him.  We’ve got some resources to help with that.

Keep you eyes open for more info…

Church Prayer Meeting

Posted in The Notices

This week is our Church prayer meeting.  It’s tonight (Wednesday) at 7.30pm in church.  We usually pray for about an hour, but don’t worry we do different things and it’s not boring!  We believe that when we pray things happen and we’re confident that we’ll see God at work amongst us as we pray together tonight.

This Sunday (22nd April 2018)

Posted in news, and Sunday

This week at our services we’ll be thinking about Jesus, the good shepherd.  If you appreciate the traditional things in life come at 9.30am.  If you like things more informal, or you’re hoping for some children’s activities, you’ll prefer the 4pm service.

It’s also our APCM (Annual Parochial Church Meeting) at 10.45, this is important, so if you would call yourself a member of St Peter’s we’d love to see you there too!
